Barry Garcia joins MAC Group as Technical Sales Manager for Nanlite
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., June 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Barry started his career as a news photographer and production specialist for KJAC news in Port Arthur, Texas. He then moved to KFDM in Texas and WPEC in Florida where his collective experience shooting anything and everything set him up for what was to become a lifelong love affair with video production. Barry left the news business for a role as director of photography for Five Star Productions in Delray Beach, Florida working with many large television networks including Nickelodeon, Outdoor Life Network, NFL Network's, MLB, and NBA entertainment. After winning an Emmy, he started his own freelance business working with major networks like MTV, BET, Comedy Central, Travel Channel, and VH1.
Barry moved back to Texas to work for the Ikan Corporation as Lighting Product Manager which included new product development, product troubleshooting, video tech tips, and onsite product demos.
Barry will focus on expanding the adoption of Nanlite products throughout the
consumer, prosumer, and professional content, cine and video markets.
Barry still lights and shoot projects as it keeps him in touch with how lighting is evolving and best practices on today's sets.
