"We are fortunate to have Renay Sanders, a Tuscarawas County native, join our team,” said Custer. Renay will be working with area industries and assisting Custer along the Ohio River Corridor and throughout the Appalachian Basin for the industrial, land and office market. Renay will also be working with retail assignments throughout the area.

Laurie Stanbro, commercial real estate specialist with NAI Ohio River Corridor, has been promoted to vice president of brokerage operations in Ohio. Stanbro joined NAI Ohio River Corridor in 2017. “Laurie Stanbro’s expanded role within the company will help to facilitate improvement processes and strategies for all departments,” says Custer. Since joining NAI Ohio River Corridor, Stanbro’s focus has been on sales, leasing, investment properties and assisting in site selection assignments in Carroll, Columbiana and Tuscarawas Counties.

In addition to Sanders and Stanbro, the team includes Leon McCombs, commercial real estate specialist who continues to work with industrial and office clients throughout eastern Ohio including Holmes and Wayne County. McCombs has been working with owners of properties within the Federal Opportunity Zones which provide an avenue for buyers to offset capital gains from other sales. Julie Shaffer, a Massillon, Ohio native, provides office and administrative assistance at the Bolivar, Ohio office.

NAI Ohio River Corridor also employs interns Jay Chaddock, a student at The Ohio State University studying Business Management, and Phong Nguyen, a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in Business Management and Marketing, who will be taking a position with The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in July. “Our interns have been a valuable part of the team providing research and working with video and collateral materials to market property listings,” said Custer.

“As our business continues to grow, we are looking for professionals who understand how integral logistics and supply chain are to making real estate decisions,” said Custer. “We continue to look for qualified individuals with a consultative approach to business and real estate. We are also looking for team members who are technically oriented as our marketing continues to evolve.”

Future growth plans include a stronger presence in eastern Ohio, West Virginia and throughout the Ohio River Corridor, Appalachian Basin, Utica and Marcellus Shale areas.
