Missouri American Water Names Grant Evitts as Vice President of Operations

Grant Evitts has accepted the position of Vice President of Operations for Missouri American Water, effective June 17. In his new role, Evitts will lead Water Quality, Field Operations, Production and Maintenance teams across the state. He will report to President Debbie Dewey.

Evitts has been an employee of American Water for 30 years, holding positions in both Illinois and Missouri. Most recently, he served as the senior director of Field Operations and Production in St. Louis, where he led more than 450 employees. Prior to that, Evitts was the senior manager of Field Operations and Production in the Southern Division of Illinois American Water.

Evitts is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Applied Management program at Ranken Technical College in St. Louis. He has achieved certification in instrumentation and process control and industrial electricity/electronics and holds a Class C water operator’s license from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.
