Promises Behavioral Health Expands Two Addiction and Mental Health Facilities

The Right Step Houston, an inpatient and outpatient treatment program for people with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, is relocating to a new facility in Houston, Texas. The newly renovated, 38,000 square foot facility sits on 2.5 acres of land, just 30 minutes from George Bush Intercontinental Airport and 15 minutes from downtown. It features 60 private bedrooms, semi-private bathrooms, a large dining room and a 1,300 square foot onsite gym. The Right Step Houston provides high-quality, affordable care, and accepts commercial insurance and Medicaid.
Another exciting expansion will occur this summer at Washburn House, a substance abuse treatment center in Worcester, Massachusetts. The facility will expand from 26 detox beds and 32 residential beds to 32 detox beds and 48 residential beds. Courtesy of funding from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to help combat escalating opioid overdose deaths, Washburn House is also building a 16-bed residential treatment facility for people with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
