Bluefin to Speak on PCI-Validated P2PE at the U.S. Payments Forum All-Member Meeting

ATLANTA, July 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Bluefin, the leading provider of payment security technologies including PCI-validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) solutions for retail, hospitality, healthcare, and higher education, will speak at the upcoming U.S. Payments Forum All-Member Meeting in Atlanta, July 17th-18th, on PCI-validated P2PE.

The U.S. Payments Forum is a cross-industry body focused on supporting the introduction and implementation of EMV chip and other new and emerging technologies that protect the security of, and enhance opportunities for, payment transactions within the United States. The Forum is the only non-profit organization whose membership includes the entire payments ecosystem - including merchants, acquirers, processors and solution providers - ensuring that all stakeholders have the opportunity to coordinate, cooperate on, and have a voice in the future of the U.S. payments industry.

Bluefin's Chief Strategy Officer, Ruston Miles, is Chair of the E2EE/P2PE Implementation group that meets at least twice annually and will lead the Meeting's E2EE/P2PE session on July 18th. Bluefin was the first company in North America to receive PCI validation for a P2PE solution in March 2014. In October of 2014, Bluefin introduced its Decryption as a Service offering, Decryptx®, which enables payment gateways, processors and ISV's to provide Bluefin's P2PE solution through their platforms and direct to their clients. The company has over 100 connected P2PE partners serving clients in 29 countries, with more than 80 PCI certified P2PE devices to choose from.

"Payment security is my passion and I'm honored to lead this group for the U.S. Payments Forum," said Ruston. "I often speak at conferences about the benefits and value proposition of P2PE, but this group dives into P2PE implementation details that merchants and providers are working through on the front lines."

Through the meeting, Forum members will gain insights on the latest developments in the payments industry. Speakers will hold a variety of sessions on secure payments technologies, providing high-level education, implementation guidance and other information.
