She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Fairview Hospital (associated with Cleveland Clinic) in Cleveland, OH. She completed her fellowship in Neuro-Oncology from Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH and her Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C. and Howard University Hospital, Washington, D.C.

Dr. Sakruti has multiple peer-reviewed publications, peer-reviewed abstracts, and presentations. She was a winning team participant for the ACP Ohio Chapter, Doctors Dilemma award. She remains active in clinical studies and research. She is fluent in English, Telugu, and Hindi.

She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Medical Council of India and Andhra Pradesh (AP) Medical Council.
