Shingle & Gibb Automation Names Rick Slaugh as President

Shingle & Gibb Automation is proud to announce the promotion of Rick Slaugh to the position of President. Slaugh joined Shingle & Gibb in November 2012 as the Company’s Chief Strategy Officer and in mid-2018 took over as Chief Operating Officer. He has been instrumental in executing the Company’s strategic plan of continuous growth while maintaining the Company’s culture and ensuring the highest levels of both customer and supplier satisfaction.

Brian Lepsis, who joined the Company in 2005 and has served as President and CEO since 2011, will remain the Chief Executive Officer as well as Chairman of the Board.

As President, Slaugh will continue to provide company-wide leadership, vision and management to maintain and advance the Company’s standing as a leader in the high technology controls and automation world. “Rick has spent decades in the automation industry and knows what it takes to successfully lead a company in this very competitive space,” said Jeff Ursell, the long-time Vice President of Sales for Turck USA and current Board Member of Shingle & Gibb Automation. “He has a well-deserved reputation of possessing both big picture intellect as well as result-oriented attention to detail that will serve Shingle & Gibb, its customers, employees and suppliers well as they continue to grow and expand,” Ursell continued.

As Slaugh assumes responsibility for all internal operations, Lepsis will focus on long-term vision and strategy in consultation with the independent members of the Company’s Board of Directors, including seeking out additional expansion opportunities for the Company.

Please join us in congratulating Rick Slaugh on this well-deserved promotion!
