Walser Automotive Group Delivers Payment-free Vehicle to Minnesota Combat-wounded Veteran

Walser Automotive Group is teaming up with Wells Fargo and the Military Warrior Support Foundation to provide a Minnesota veteran with a new payment-free vehicle.

The payment-free vehicle, a new 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport, is being provided by the Walser Foundation with support from Wells Fargo and Military Warriors Support Foundation’s Transportation4Hereos program.

The veteran receiving the vehicle, a Coon Rapids native, served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a sergeant from 2006 – 2012. He was injured in combat and received a Purple Heart among other awards for his service. He now lives in Coon Rapids, Minnesota with his fiancée and three children. The veteran is starting his own lawn care business and hopes to expand his company in the future.

With a focus on workforce development, the Walser Foundation passionately supports the transition of veterans to civilian life and understands the unique challenges a military family faces, including reintegration to the workforce. Walser is committed to serving its customers and company by supporting initiatives that in turn support our country.

Prior to the Key Delivery Ceremony, the veteran and his family will also be recognized during an on-site ceremony during Military Appreciation Day at the Minnesota State Fair on August 27.
