The 20's Jonathan Blakey Joins CompTIA Channel Advisory Board

DALLAS, August 29, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CompTIA, the world's leading technology association, announced today that Jonathan Blakey, Chief Technology Officer of The 20, has joined its Channel Advisory Board.

Blakey has more than a decade of experience in technology management, product management and partner relations. As CTO of The 20, he oversees the entire system architecture, scalability, and robustness. The perspective he brings from his experience as CTO for an MSP collective makes him invaluable on the board.

"With the breadth of his experience in our industry, Jonathan is a strong addition to our Channel Advisory Board," said Annette Taber, CompTIA's vice president for industry outreach. "His insights into the business of technology - how it is developed, marketed, purchased and deployed - will help guide the actions we take as an advisory council, an association and an industry."

"Serving as a member of the CompTIA Channel Advisory Board is a great honor and a learning experience. I'm proud to serve with passionate industry leaders who are interested in moving the channel forward," said Jonathan.

The CompTIA Channel Advisory Board includes executives from technology hardware manufacturers, software publishers, carriers, service companies, distributors, master agents, and technology solution provider companies. This group provides counsel and insight to help technology solution providers adapt to the changing marketplace. This includes helping them to build out their "business solutions" practices, using cloud-based options and other emerging technologies to help customers with their digital transformations.

During his 12-year tenure with Roland Technology Group, Dallas-based MSP and The 20's sister company, Jonathan served in a variety of key senior management positions, including Chief Information Officer. He has successfully collaborated with several vendors' software development teams to build their software in a direction to specifically meet The 20's requirements.
