Cambridge Semantics to Present at Connected Data London 2019

BOSTON, October 01, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cambridge Semantics, the leading provider of modern data management and analytics software, today announced its participation at Connected Data London, October 3 and 4, 2019 in London.

Alok Prasad, President, and Thomas Cook, Director of Sales, will co-present, "Graph Database Use Cases: Why and How Graph is being used for Data Harmonization and Analytics," on October 4 from 3:10 p.m. to 3:40 p.m. In this presentation, they will talk about graph analytics databases and how Labelled Property Graphs (RDF*) with RDF is changing the use cases being addressed by graph technologies. They will also show a demo of how a graph analytics database with RDF combines the expressive power of RDF with labelled properties to empower the user with new insights from diverse data at speeds and performance never before possible.

Steve Sarsfield, Vice President of Product, will participate in a panel, "Graph Databases Will Rule the World in the 2020s. But Why, and How?" on October 4 from 2:35 p.m. to 3:05 p.m. Panelists give a nod to leading research firm, Gartner, which proclaimed knowledge graphs are a key technology of the 2020s, but in their view, while the growth of knowledge graph adoption sounds great in theory, in practice "things are messy." Moderated by data industry expert George Anadiotis, panelists will dig into this topic with a discussion about standards, W3C initiatives, best uses and applications of graph databases, vendor selection and performance evaluation.

Now in its 5th year, Connected Data London is the leading annual conference bringing together data practitioners that specialize in extracting value from the connections in data. The event brings together practitioners from artificial intelligence, linked data, graph database and semantic technology network, for debate, networking, idea sharing and discussion of best practices.
