Demand for Aviation Maintenance Technicians Evident at National Aviation Academy (NAA) Career Fair

CLEARWATER, Fla., Oct. 3, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Significant interest was ignited at National Aviation Academy's (NAA) recent career fair. Employers expressed the immediate need to fill open positions with qualified aviation maintenance technicians as industry demands continue to rise.

To connect students and alumni with career opportunities, NAA's career fair took place on September 26, 2019, at their Tampa Bay campus. Forty-two companies were in attendance to meet candidates, conduct interviews, and make employment offers. Industry leaders such as Boeing, Endeavor, General Electric (GE), Gulfstream, and Lockheed Martin were onsite, seeking qualified and excited candidates.

NAA focuses solely on aviation maintenance training to exceed expectations from employers and adhere to safety requirements set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Aircraft mechanics are in high demand as technicians retire and fleet sizes increase. With NAA's 14 or 21-month accelerated training programs, students are able to learn from professional and experienced instructors to prepare for current and future career opportunities.

NAA's next career fair will be held at NAA's New England campus at 130 Baker Avenue Extension in Concord, Mass. on Thursday, November 7, 2019. United Airlines, Pratt and Whitney, and Panasonic are just a few of the industry leaders who will be in attendance. NAA-Tampa Bay will host their next career fair on Thursday, January 23, 2020.
