Wood Fiber Holdings Announces Leadership Changes

The Board of Directors of Wood Fiber Holdings Inc. is pleased to announce that Craig Tompkins has been named President and CEO. Wood Fiber Holdings was formed in 2018 as a result of the merger of Simonds International and Burton Saw and Supply. Tompkins succeeds Ray Martino in the role of President and CEO. Martino has been named Chairman of the Board of Wood Fiber Holdings Inc.

Craig Tompkins has served as COO since January of 2018 when Burton Saw & Supply merged with Simonds International. Craig has extensive experience as a senior executive, serving as CEO of Burton Saw & Supply, CEO and President of Marlin International, VP of Operations at Ryerson and Corporate VP at Sun Chemical. Craig holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in Engineering from Purdue University. Craig will remain in our west coast headquarters in Springfield, Oregon.

Ray Martino has been President and CEO of the Simonds group of companies since 1999 and has served as President and CEO of Wood Fiber Holdings since the 2018 merger.
