Kurtz GmbH and ei3 announce a strategic partnership to bring the benefits of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) to users of Particle Foam and Foundry Machines

NEW YORK, Oct. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Kurtz's new digital solution -- the Kurtz POWerBoard, based on ei3's industry leading IIoT solution -- allows Kurtz clients to enjoy the benefits of digitalization and Industry 4.0.

With Kurtz POWerBoard, users can use secure connections to their Kurtz machines to:

-- INCREASE MACHINE PERFORMANCE by remotely monitoring, benchmarking and
visualizing production data across manufacturing sites worldwide.
-- REDUCE DOWNTIME by identifying future performance issues and anticipate
        failures of machine parts.
-- IMPROVE QUALITY by recording and analyzing test results, defining best
recipes and applying other Standard Process Control (SPC) methods.
-- SAVE RESOURCES AND ENERGY by using consumption information to perform
advanced analysis and develop predictive models to alert on deviations
        from normal parameters.

On the request of the users, Kurtz technicians can also connect to the machines to upgrade programs, troubleshoot problems and provide remote assistance.

"We are pleased to partner with ei3, who enables us to deliver IIoT services at the highest quality with a high level of compliance and IT security for our customers," says Uwe Rothaug, Managing Director at Kurtz Ersa. ei3 operates in compliance to some of the most stringent security requirements and privacy controls, including the International Standard Organization (ISO) 27001:2013 and NIST 800.

Constantin Kemmer, Technical Director at Kurtz adds, "With far-reaching expertise in delivering IIoT since 1999, ei3's dynamic no-code solution is a perfect addition to Kurtz's offering. This strategic alliance jump-starts our IIoT capabilities. ei3 was extremely quick to configure their solution to fit our machines and the specific requirements of our clients."

Kurtz has soft launched the IIoT Program at GIFA in June 2019 with a small set of customers. The results of which were outstanding. ei3's CEO Spencer Cramer affirms, "We care deeply about the success of our partners and are proud to collaborate with Kurtz Ersa on this important program."
