ClearHealth Quality Institute Releases RPM Accreditation Standards for Public Comment

ANNAPOLIS, Md., Nov. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ClearHealth Quality Institute(TM) (CHQI), an independent health care accrediting body, today released draft standards for the country's first accreditation program designed specifically for Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs.

When finalized, CHQI's RPM Accreditation Program will offer a set of comprehensive standards to define and assess RPM programs in key areas including operations, professional oversight, clinical workflow, quality procedures, technology requirements, and risk management. The CHQI RPM Accreditation Program is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2020.

The public comment period, beginning on November 5, 2019 and closing on December 6, 2019, will allow interested parties to provide feedback on the draft RPM Accreditation Program Standards before they are finalized.
