MixComm Secures $8.6M in New Financing to Accelerate Millimeter Wave Development

CHATHAM, N.J., Nov. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MixComm, an innovative millimeter wave pioneer with breakthrough 5G performance, today announced it has secured $8.6M in Series B funding led by existing investor, Kairos Ventures. These funds will be used to accelerate staffing and the introduction of its millimeter wave products.

5G has great potential but is challenged by the robustness of millimeter wave signals, the cost of deployment and power required. MixComm addresses these challenges with millimeter wave solutions offering industry leading output power and energy efficiency. Founded in 2017, MixComm has quickly leveraged many years of research and technology development at Columbia University combined with a very experienced management team.
