SurveyAuto Receives Investment from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

LAHORE, Pakistan, Dec. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SurveyAuto, the emerging leader in using machine learning to crowdsource field data, announced a grant investment by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to monitor family planning product data. The grant will be used by SurveyAuto to explore if crowdsourced data, combined with machine learning, can reduce cost and improve quality of field data collection.

The grant investment will further develop the model to monitor product data from health clinics and pharmacies in Pakistan. SurveyAuto uses machine learning on satellite imagery and open street maps to accurately identify survey targets, tracks and monitors enumerators in real-time using smartphone applications, and uses speech and image analysis to automatically analyze the quality of collected data.

The award marks the latest in a series of large-scale projects for SurveyAuto where it is working with several large organizations to address innovations in data collection.
