Here TV Premieres 'Stories from the Heart: A Conversation with Ty Herndon' for Valentine's Day

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 13, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Here TV, America's first and largest LGBTQ+ video channel, today announced the Valentine's Day 2020 world premiere of Stories from the Heart: A Conversation with Ty Herndon. See it for free on Here.TV (https://www.here.tv/tyherndon)

Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning country singer, Ty Herndon came out publicly in 2014. In this half-hour special, Herndon talks about the love behind the music, why he considers himself a "teacher-preacher," and the importance of fighting homophobia.

"What a beautiful gift it is to sit down and tell pieces of your story in the most authentic way possible," says Herndon. "My story is full of heartbreak and lessons learned. It is also full of the most amazing adventures and people who have loved me through it all. I believed for a long time that I was broken. It's crazy, but I do have days when I feel like my life is just beginning. Learning to love yourself is the greatest gift of all."

Herndon was named in People Magazine's "Sexy at Every Age" and made his debut with the number one single, "What Mattered Most." As a gift to the LGBTQ+ community, Herndon recently updated the pronouns in the lyrics and re-released the song. Herndon has had a total of 17 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including three number ones.

"Ty Herndon shares tremendous wisdom, through honesty, openness, love for self and love for others. His talent as a singer is only surpassed by his love for humanity and truth," says Here Media President and Producer John Mongiardo. "Our mission at Here Media is to present these valuable stories to our global audience in the most authentic setting to ensure the positive message is felt and heard far beyond."
