Black Construction Corp. Awarded Three Projects Collectively Valued at $28 Million

Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a leading civil, building and specialty construction company, announced today that its subsidiary, Black Construction Corp., in a joint venture with MACE International, has been awarded by the U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Far East District, three new task orders for projects in Diego Garcia collectively valued at approximately $28 million.

The first task order, valued at approximately $12.3 million, is for a project to construct a 34-meter antenna facility and support infrastructure at the U.S. Naval Support Facility, Diego Garcia. This work is expected to be completed by April 2021. The second and third task orders, valued at approximately $7.7 million and $7.8 million, respectively, are for projects to construct two new 13-meter diameter radomes, each with reinforced concrete antenna footings, an internal concrete room, ring wall, heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit, electrical and communication lines at the communication site facility at U.S. Naval Support Facility, Diego Garcia. The two radome projects are expected to be completed by February 2021.

The project contract values will be included in the Company’s first quarter 2020 backlog.
