Cannabis Delivery SaaS, Grow Cart, Wins Best of What's New Award

INDIANAPOLIS, March 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Grow Cart has won Best in Indy Awards from Indianapolis Monthly magazine. Awards were given in the "Best of Health" category.

Grow Cart is on a mission to make cannabis delivery as easy as pizza delivery.

Grow Cart is a SaaS (software as a service) that allows any dispensary to start their own cannabis e-commerce and delivery service.

Grow Cart's turnkey platform is super easy to use and has solved the cannabis delivery problem. Credit card processing challenges, app store restrictions around cannabis commerce, and predictive delivery in any city are just a few of the problems Grow Cart has solved for its customers.

Grow Cart has brought together an experienced Executive Team from global technology companies like Adobe Systems, Salesforce and The Walt Disney Company.

Recent media attention includes spotlights in cannabis publications, like the Leaf Desk, and hometown publications, like the Indy Star.

"Winning these awards in our first year of business truly validates the hard work that goes into Grow Cart - from code to customer support - and shows how cannabis delivery can be successful in any city," says Grow Cart Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Rebecca Raffle.

"We would not have won these awards without our incredible team. With a tremendous amount of SaaS and cannabis industry experience, our team has created a simple and easy to use platform for any cannabis retailer, THC and/or CBD," says Ashley Damron, Grow Cart Chief Operating Officer.

Damron recently joined Grow Cart from global software enterprise, Salesforce. Salesforce is a cloud-based B2B software company, headquartered in San Francisco.

"Having [Damron] from a SaaS, like Salesforce, and Founders from Adobe and Disney, gives Grow Cart a huge head start. Our team's story and unique experience exponentially sets us apart from any other cannabis technology competitor," says Stormi Hunt, Grow Cart's Director of Operations.

Launched in April 2019, Grow Cart's technology and delivery service has been successful with recreational dispensaries in Michigan and CBD-only dispensaries in Indiana. Grow Cart is now accepting dispensary customers nationwide.

Owner of Michigan provisioning center, The Happiest Camper (DBA "THC"), Chris Clabaugh, says, "Grow Cart has changed everything for us. It was really easy to get our menu setup and team trained. Our drivers love using the app and say it saves them so much time during the day. I love being able to see each driver's daily delivery metrics. Our customers are really grateful too, because no one else is able to offer them delivery in our local area. By adding delivery, our market share has increased over 50%."

Grow Cart is DoorDash or Uber Eats for cannabis delivery. Dispensaries can easily upload their products and their customers can download the Grow Cart app to place a delivery order.

"Dispensaries don't have to deal with app store restrictions or worry about their store being shut down. Grow Cart has very secure global banking relationships," says Raffle.

The winners of Best of Indy are chosen by an unbiased panel of Writers and Editors at Indianapolis Monthly.

Founded in 1977 as Indianapolis Home and Garden, the magazine became Indianapolis Monthly in 1981 and was sold to Emmis Communications in 1988.
