Premier Gate Access Control Manufacturer CellGate Has Joined the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas

CARROLLTON, Texas, March 11, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cellular access control manufacturer, CellGate, is now a member of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas (AAGD). The AAGD has over 1,000 apartment owner and management company members, who represent 2,700 properties in the eleven counties surrounding the City of Dallas. It also includes an additional 750 companies that provide professional services and products to these property owners and management companies.

CellGate has a number of cellular and internet-based access control products that are ideal for vehicle and pedestrian gate entrances of multi-family residences, thus AAGD membership was an ideal opportunity for the company to network and market these products to the decision-makers in the local area.

"We are so excited to meet the other members of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas," said CellGate's Vice President of Sales, Ken Shaw. "While we sell our products and service on a national basis, we think there is a huge opportunity to gain better market share of the multi-tenant property access control market that is literally in our own backyard. Plus, it is always gratifying to be able to see in person how our products improve the living experience for both a multi-tenant property resident and the property's managers."

CellGate currently has three products it markets and sells to multi-family properties, all from their Watchman line. The Watchman W460, Watchman W461 and new Watchman XL are all gate access control systems that can provide live streaming video of visitors at the gate, directly to a tenant's smart phone. These multi-tenant options can work on either the Verizon or AT&T cellular networks, or with a hard-wired internet connection. Many multi-tenant properties are moving to cellular-based gate access control options in recent years due to the high cost of new landline installation, tenants' desire to have access control from their smart phones, and property management's desire to have more feature-rich security options that can be easily controlled from a web portal or their own wireless devices. CellGate's multi-tenant product offerings come with a single internal camera and can include up to 3 external cameras for additional security. In addition, CellGate's WXP Expansion panel can be added to these systems to control up to 4 other property gates and doors.

Shaw reiterated the importance of meeting AAGD members in person, and having the ability to demonstrate how Cellgate's technology works. "We are really looking forward to the networking opportunities AAGD membership provides, and to exhibiting at their trade shows," said Shaw. "Seeing our products in action, and how they can make multi-tenant property residents' lives easier, is such a joy and we cannot wait to be more active in our own local market."
