Accomplished Marine Corps Special Operations Command Raider Joins the CRG Team

EWING, N.J., Sept. 2, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Critical Response Group, Inc. announced the hiring of Staff Sergeant Lee Culpepper, a Marine Raider from the United States Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC), as its Regional Director of Sales and Implementation for the Southwest Region of the United States. He will leverage existing partnerships and implement strategies that continue the adoption of Collaborative Response Graphics® (CRG®) as America's Common Operating Picture(TM).

"We recognized the Southwest Region of the country is proactive and collaborative in its efforts to sure up security at schools and critical infrastructure facilities, so focusing effort in that region made perfect sense," said Phil Coyne, President of Critical Response Group. "Lee's past experiences in the military, his personal connection to the area and natural leadership qualities will help CRG foster meaningful relationships with the public safety professionals across the region."

After attending West Virginia University, where he played footfall, Lee enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, eventually being selected as a Critical Skills Operator in MARSOC's elite 1st Marine Raider Battalion. Following several combat deployments overseas he was assigned as the Training Cell Operations Chief at the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, where he led a team of instructors that prepared personnel to deploy overseas to conduct missions in support of the United States Special Operations Command throughout the world. Lee will now lead sales and implementation efforts for Critical Response Group, leveraging his strong operational background to support public safety organizations in the Southwest Region of the United States.

About Critical Response Group, Inc.
United States Military Special Operations Force (USSOF) faced the challenge of operating and communicating about unfamiliar locations with diverse groups and nationalities while under stress during counter-terrorism missions. Similar to dynamic emergency situations firefighters and law enforcement officers confront, USSOF deal with chaotic operations and collaborate with partners who may not share a common background. To solve that problem, USSOF developed a visual communication tool, called a Gridded Reference Graphic (GRG), that combined a grid overlay with high-resolution overhead imagery so mission participants could communicate from a site-specific common operating picture. The principles of a GRG were expanded and pivoted for domestic use as a Collaborative Response Graphic, or CRG.

CRGs are built for any facility, including schools, places of worship, hospitals, airports, government buildings, prisons, parks, corporate facilities, theme parks, and other critical infrastructure, and are regularly used for pre-planned and emerging events.

Critical Response Group, Inc. is a group of retired United States Military Special Operations personnel, public safety professionals and talented technical experts committed to introducing validated, simple to use and practical tools to first responders which will enhance their planning for, and ultimately their coordination when responding to, any critical incident.
