Unique Electric Solutions Welcomes VP Sales & Marketing

Unique Electric Solutions (UES), a leader in electric vehicle propulsion systems, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Michael Backman to the position of Vice President, Sales & Marketing. In this newly created role, Mr. Backman will lead the global go-to-market strategy and expansion efforts of UES.

Mike Backman joins UES from Spectivate where he was a principal consultant assisting high growth companies in various vehicle technology sectors, including autonomous, ADAS, electric vehicle energy management, and fleet management. Previously, Mike was the North American General Manager for Mobileye, a pioneer in technology for autonomous vehicles, driver assistance and collision avoidance systems, where he grew the business from near zero revenue until the company’s $15 billion acquisition by Intel. Mike also enjoyed executive leadership roles at Tier-1 automotive supplier DC Safety and global industrial automation giant Rockwell Automation.
