Bright Machines Expands Executive Team with Appointment of Wes Kapsa as Chief Revenue Officer

Today, Bright Machines, an innovator in intelligent, software-defined manufacturing, announced the appointment of Wes Kapsa, a seasoned technology sales executive, to its leadership team as Chief Revenue Officer. He joins as Bright Machines continues to drive the adoption of its industry-transforming technology and expand into new manufacturing verticals. Wes brings expertise in guiding disruptive technologies to market while building high-performing teams that enable sustainable, long-term growth.

Wes joins Bright Machines from Anaplan, where he was most recently Area Vice President of North America and Latin America Commercial Accounts. During his time at Anaplan, he built the company's first commercial sales team and grew his business to become the top performing region globally.

"Wes is an accomplished revenue leader who understands how to cultivate high-performing, strategic teams that can achieve continuous growth year over year," said Lior Susan, Co-founder, and CEO of Bright Machines. "Adding his expertise to our leadership team allows us to accelerate our revenue engine while we continue to focus on developing the world's best intelligent automated assembly for our customers."

Prior to Anaplan, Wes held leadership roles at NetSuite and Plex Systems, where he built national sales teams, and at Oracle, where he landed the company’s largest cloud HCM SaaS solution deal and was recognized as a top 10 Account Executive globally. At NetSuite, his team added over 100 new logos in 2017 alone, growing the businesses year over year.

"I'm passionate about building world-class teams that are fanatical about customer success, delivering business outcomes, and creating a winning culture," said Wes Kapsa, CRO of Bright Machines. "With my experience in the manufacturing space at both Plex and Oracle, I'm well equipped to help our customers solve their challenges by adopting our full-stack solution. We have a tremendous opportunity to reshape the industry as we move into the next phase of the company's growth."
