Aerospace

PM-AEROTEC is a well known supplier within the manufacturing supply chain of advanced complex fuel tank structures for aircrafts operating on different levels like e.g. components, subassemblies and complete assembly level. Combining the machined and composite details and sub-assemblies PM-AEROTEC has demonstrated expertise in providing fuselage structures.

Aeronautical Engine Components

Engine shafts are often slender and hollow and need to be able to withstand huge loads and torques. Precision manufacture of turbine shafts, compressor/fan driveshafts and stub shafts is an important area of specialisation at PM-AEROTEC multiple types have been supplied  for commercial and military usages. Our machine shops are equipped with state-of-the-art grinders for external and internal machining.

The Company's inspection equipment includes a precision measuring systems and specially designed inspection tools.

Engineering

PM Aerotec’s engineers support their customers with their knowledge of machining, sheet-metal assembly technology as well as the software expertise needed. For each order, the company forms a team of engineers combining all required competencies. These teams are led by one project manager. He is the contact for the customers and supervises the project right up to its release. This may be a small or medium-sized series of components, assemblies or complete machines but also a prototype or a feasibility study.

Module construction

PM Aerotec assembles high precision components into modules designed for a variety of applications. These precision components are produced in a wide range of high-quality materials.

Machining

The first step in the machining process is production engineering and CNC programming.
All machining processes (turning, milling, benchworking, honing, lapping) and measuring take place on state-of-the-art CNC machines. Work is performed in shifts, the aim being to produce with as little staff as possible.

Assembly

Depending on the customer`s requirements, PM Aerotec supplies these assemblies in small or medium-sized series. PM Aerotec also builds complete mechatronic machines.

Prototyping

Besides performing feasibility studies, PM Aerotec has all the equipment and facilities needed for the construction of prototypes for modules, assemblies and complete machines. PM Aerotec can also take care of the functional testing of the prototypes it produces.
