DURO DAKOVIC SPECIJALNA VOZILA

DURO DAKOVIC SPECIJALNA VOZILA d.d. (DDSV) operates within Duro Dakovic Group. Continuing on ninety years long tradition in production of railway wagons, the company manufactures main battle tank M-84 since 1981. The headquarter and production premises of DD Specijalna vozila d.d. are located in Slavonski Brod, town with approximately 60 000 inhabitants, administrative and cultural centre of Brodsko-posavska County, located on the left bank of the river Sava, 200 km far from Zagreb.

Being the only producer of Armoured Combat Vehicles in Republic of Croatia and Prime Contractor to Croatian Ministry of Defence for MBT Program and AMV 8x8 Program, the company is declared and nominated as strategic partner of Croatian Ministry of Defence and Croatian Armed Forces. Scope of work of the company includes defence program and program of freight wagons as primary programs, but also engineering equipment and industrial cooperation in metal-processing industry as secondary activities.

DDSV is certified according to EN ISO 9001 for development, design, production and service of special vehicles and equipment for military purposes, industrial vehicles and steel structures.

PRODUCTION PROGRAM

AMV 8x8 Wheeled Armoured Modular Vehicle

Current serial production of wheeled armoured vehicle AMV 8x8 for Croatian Armed Forces is based on cooperation between DDSV and Finnish company PATRIA, realized through the full Transfer of Technology.

Running contract for Croatian MoD enables synergy of own experience with newest technology standards for basic vehicles, which results with full company capabilities for: manufacturing of different types of armoured vehicles; integration of the wide range of weapons; equipping of the vehicles for specific missions; maintenance of the AMV 8x8 and support through the vehicle life cycle.

Main Battle Tank Program

DDDSV started with tank production in early eighties. Based on license of Russian T-72, new M-84 was significantly improved from the beginning. Integration of FCS brought much higher first round hit probability, and image intensifier sights permitted precious night operating. From the start of serial production it has been produced more than 700 tanks of M-84 family, including export of model M-84AB in Kuwait.

RM03 Mine Sweeper

Demining machines, as result of own development have been brought in DDSV's portfolio in early 2000's. The newest type of heavy high efficient, remotely controlled machine completed a palette of demining equipment. Demining machines are certified for anti-tank and anti-personnel mine fields clearing, capable to operate in all soil and vegetation types as well as all weather and climate conditions.

Railway Cargo Wagons

DDSV is the only manufacturer of railway cargo wagons in Republic of Croatia. As a reference, during the years Duro Dakovic delivered more than 12.000 cargo wagons and over 2.000 tank wagons. Besides production for the Croatian Railways, DDSV is present on European market in many countries such as Germany, France, Switzerland and states of Benelux.
