Infraestructura de Datos Espaciales de la Republica Argentina (IDERA)

INFRAESTRUCTURA DE DATOS ESPACIALES DE LA REPUBLICA ARGENTINA (IDERA) is a geospatial information community that aims to promote the publication of geospatial data in an efficient and timely manner as a fundamental contribution to the democratization of access to information, while at the same time supporting decision making in the various activities of the public, private, academic and non-governmental sectors.

IDERA provides access to data, geospatial products and services, published online under defined rules and standards, ensuring interoperability and use, as well as ownership of information by agencies that publish it and update it. IDERA has as a mission the generation of policies, protocols, institutional arrangements, legal rules or procedural standards to facilitate sharing and integration of data in a distributed environment and enable access and processing independently of their format and location.
