Micreo's core business is the design and manufacture of RF MICs and subsystems to global defence companies. Micreo products are currently installed in several of the world's front-line military aircraft and ships. Based in Brisbane Australia, Micreo is an independent company founded in 2002 which currently employs 72 people.

Micreo's Electronic Warfare (EW) products utilise high performance microwave, millimetre-wave and photonic technology. The company’s speciality is working with customers to design leading-edge products for extreme environments and it has has qualified design and manufacturing processes suitable for these products. Micreo has AS9100C certification for design and manufacture of RF, microwave and photonic products with an emphasis on reliability for harsh environmental conditions.

Microwave Products - Micreo's microwave products include frequency converters, local oscillator systems, switched filters and amplifiers. The company produces an increasing range of wideband products and custom designs for use in Radar and EW systems. These products are typically qualified for airborne use, operating over a -54C to +95C temperature range and extreme levels of vibration and mechanical shock.

Optical Products - Micreo has developed custom optical products used in EW systems and in cases where the coaxial cable losses at frequencies up to 40 GHz need to be avoided. The benefits of lower weight, easier installation and better EMC/EMI performance are causing many customers to introduce optical links.

Build to Print - Micreo has completed a number of build-to-print contracts in cases where specialised skills and facilities are needed, often with a rapid response to enable the fast deployment of products.
