Cantiere Navale Vittoria (Vittoria Shipyard) was created in 1927 and works in all sectors of naval construction, having produced more than 800 boats including: cargo-boats, fishing vessels, tankers, dredgers, ferry boats and passengers ships. Production is sustained with a diversity of materials: aluminium alloy, high performance carbon steels, Duplex type stainless steel resistant to all chemical agents, and epoxy or polyester resins reinforced with fibreglass, carbon or Kevlar.

Cantiere Navale Vittoria follows the production chain of its vessels from design to delivery. Over the years, the shipyard has streamlined its production in order to combine the technological competences of a big company and the flexibility and attention to details of a handcraft workshop.

In addition to the quality management system ISO 9001, the enterprise has received the environmental management system certificate ISO 14001. Cantiere Navale Vittoria has also received the OHSAS 18001 certificate.

Cantiere Navale Vittoria’s security boats are the flagships chosen by police and coast guards of many Mediterranean countries. In particular, the most requested ships are Search and Rescue boats (SAR boats), which are unsinkable and self-righting. In those recent years, more than a hundred of vessels have been built for the Coast Guards of Italy, Croatia, Libya, Malta, Cyprus and Tunisia, and they have been used against illegal immigration, smuggling, illegal drug trade, terrorism and also, for the protection of the environment and fishing areas.

Concerning defence, Cantiere Navale Vittoria has experienced crafting patrol boats, fast interceptors, and general-purpose guard ships. Among the recent models, the twin patrol boats, P01 Monte Sperone and P02 Monte Cimone are the largest vessels ever created for the Italian Finance Police, with a 58 meters length and a 460-displacement tonnage when fully loaded.
