6.Description of the contract

The subject matter of the works contract is the construction of a new Palace of Justice building in Novi Sad that shall be located at the corner of Maksima Gorkog and Stražilovske streets. It is close to the centre of Novi Sad surrounded by residential and commercial buildings with relatively high population. The new building shall consist of 2 underground levels, lower level, ground level and 6 upper floors. The complete building NET area is to be: 9380,0 m2, gross area of the building is to be: 11 186,34 m2, ground floor net area is to be: 966,92 m2 and number of parking lots provided inside the underground garage is to be 71.

Regulation (EU) No 236/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11.3.2014 laying down common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for financing external action and Regulation (EU) No 231/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11.3.2014 establishing an Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II).

Please be aware that after the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the EU, the rules of access to EU procurement procedures of economic operators established in third countries and of goods originating from third countries(1) will apply to candidates or tenderers from the United Kingdom, and to all candidates or tenderers proposing goods originating from the United Kingdom(1) depending on the outcome of negotiations.
