6.Description of the contract

The contract will comprise following:

Section 1:

— construction of common use ateliers in Erciş/Van: services will be provided for 3 main sectors; automotive, metal and carpentry (approximately 1 500 m2 closed area).

Section 2:

— construction of common use ateliers in Muş: services will be provided for 2 main sectors; automotive and metal (approximately 1 500 m2 closed area).

Section 3:

— construction of common use ateliers in Bitlis: services will be provided for 2 main sectors; automotive and metal (approximately 1 500 m2 closed area).

Works contract will be executed as per ‘Conditions of Contract for Construction for Building and Engineering Works Designed by the Employer, First Edition 1999 /Red FIDIC Book’.

7.Indicative number and titles of lots

One lot only.

8.Scheduled publication date of the contract notice

December 2019.

9.Other information

The signature of this contract is subject to the signature of the supervision contract of the same project.

10.Legal basis

Regulation (EU) No 236/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11.3.2014 laying down common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for financing external action and Regulation (EU) No 231/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11.3.2014 establishing an Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II). — See Annex A2 of the practical guide

Please be aware that after the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the EU, the rules of access to EU procurement procedures of economic operators established in third countries and of goods originating from third countries(1) will apply to candidates or tenderers from the United Kingdom, and to all candidates or tenderers proposing goods originating from the United Kingdom(1) depending on the outcome of negotiations. In case such access is not provided by legal provisions in force at the time of the contract award, candidates or tenderers from the United Kingdom, and candidates or tenderers proposing goods originating from the United Kingdom(1) could be rejected from the procurement procedure.

(1) However, they may originate from any country when the amount of the supplies to be purchased is below 100 000 EUR.
