ESB Networks has procured a multi-contractor framework under the Qualification System for the Overhead Lines Works & Services Qualification System - D20/CON/006.

The scope of the works under this Framework Agreement may include but are not limited to:

OHL projects at 400 kV / 220 kV / 110 kV / 38 kV voltage levels in distribution/transmission projects including new-builds, uprates, upvoltage, replacements and refurbishments.

All proposed Mini Tenders issued under the Framework Agreement will typically be

for works which will include but not limited to the design, construction and installation of

all electrical, mechanical, civil and structural works required for a functioning OHL, including any ancillary works required on project by project basis (e.g. site clearance).

ESB Networks is seeking expressions of interest to obtain a place on a qualification system that will be established for companies to provide overhead lines works and services to meet the pipeline of ESB Networks’ required project delivery. Overhead lines works and services means works and services related to the building, upgrading, maintenance and associated works and services for the overhead electricity network in the Republic of Ireland at all voltages. In order to apply for inclusion on the qualification system and future PQQs/Tenders to be drawn off this qualification system, applicants must complete and return the questionnaire available at www.etenders.gov.ie RFT ID:184664

The applicants who first qualify under general qualification (following an Evaluation of QSQ responses from Applicants received by 15.00 on Monday 29 March 2021) will be invited to participate in a procurement competition to form a subsequent overhead Lines framework agreement.
