A 58 metre long prestressed bridge will be built. The bridge is in three spans and is founded on driven steel piles. The road length to be diverted is approx. 495 metres.

The road line has been shifted to the inside of the existing bridge. A new foot and cycle path will also be built.

The existing bridge will be used during the construction period of the new bridge. The existing bridge will be demolished and old remaining enrockments will be towed away and used for new road filling and possibly also be used for pitching. The new electricity conduit must be placed in accordance with plans.

On the north side of the new bridge a pedestrian culvert will be established with a 2.5 metre diameter.

There are three large water pipelines (two x 400 mm and one x 160 mm) that cross E6 south of the bridge. The pipelines are open air without insulated tube hosing and must be re-laid when excavating the E6.

New pipelines will lie in insulated tube hosing through road filling. Disconnection of water pipelines must take place during the night when there is little consumption of water.
