Extended Description

UPMRC has applied for a loan from European Investment Bank, towards the cost of Agra Metro Rail Project. SCOPE OF WORK: Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Receiving cum Auxiliary Main Sub Stations Including High Voltage Cabling from Grid Substations, 750 Volts DC 3rd Rail Traction System, 33kV Cable Network, ASS, TSS & SCADA System for Corridor-1 & 2 of Agra Metro Rail Project at Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. 1. Receiving Substations(RSS): Three 132/33kV RSSs with the 6 Power Transformers of 2 x 20/25 MVA, Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) type 132kV indoor GIS bays with SF6 breakers and 33 kV indoor cubicle type bays with AIS switchgears.at PAC, ISBT and Kalindi Viahar Location . 2. Incoming 132 kV Supply: 132kV double cable feeders (single core Al conductor XLPE cables) at Three (3) Receiving Substations (RSS) of UPMRCL for Corridor-1&2.. 3. 33 Kv Cable Distribution Network: The 33kV power supply drawn from RSSs of Corridor-1&2 will be distributed along the alignment through 33kV Ring main cable network for feeding to traction and auxiliary loads. 4. Auxiliary Substations(ASS): 29 number of ASS with 33 kV / 415V, 2 x 500 kVA dry type transformers. Each Underground station and Depot is provided with Auxiliary Substations (ASS) have 33 kV /415 V, 2 x 2000 kVA dry type transformers.. 5. Traction Substations(TSS): Thirteen number of TSS with 33 kV / 750 V DC, 2 X 2850 kVA dry type Traction transformer and high-speed circuit breakers (HSCB) at Traction Substations (TSSs) will be provided to feed The 750V DC to the third rail system for the Corridor-1 & 2 . 6. Third Rail And Stinger System: The Third rail system (bottom contact, aluminium / Stainless steel composite type) at 750 V DC shall be utilized for transferring power to the Rolling Stock. 7. Earthing, Bonding, Stray Current Management and EMC: System protective earthing shall be provided for electrical safety on entire system including earthing of non-current carrying metallic components, cable supports, transformer neutrals, lightning arrestors, etc. 8. SCADA : SCADA system shall be for remote monitoring and control from the Operational Control Centre (OCC) and Backup Control Centre of all the power supply installations of the Agra Metro Rail Project, consisting two corridors and the Depots. The Operational Control Centre (OCC) is situated in the PAC Depot area and the Backup Control Centre will be established in the PAC RSS area. 9. Power Supply Protection System: protection, interlock and metering of the equipment, protection control unit (PCU) i.e. Digital Protection Control System (DPCS) shall be installed on all switchgear panels. It shall be able to operate the vital components and work as the interface with the remote SCADA system. 10. Emergency Trip System (ETS): shall be provided at each end of the station platforms, SCR and ASS/TSS and in Depots as per the requirement of NFPA 130.
