2024 European Elections
On the 2024 election night, the European Parliament shall disseminate the results of the European elections from all EU Member States, aggregating the national election results to a projection of the future composition of the EP. Monitoring the future composition of the EP shall be continued throughout election night and until the constitutive session. This contract provides for projection of the composition of the EP (lot 1) and for publication and dissemination of the EP composition (lot 2).
The contractor shall undertake the projection of the 2024 European election results on election night according to a pre-defined timetable. To do so, work to monitor voting intentions in all Member States will begin as of the signing of the contract.
The results of the European elections in the Member States must be collected and collated as close as possible to real time to generate an election night projection of the allocation of seats in the European Parliament. The projection shall be based on a rolling approach leading from the publication of national estimates to first robust seat projections and a predominant results aggregation. The contractor shall project the results and transfer relevant data to the contractor of lot 2 to ensure that all information is distributed to the election results website and to external partners.
