The Department is seeking a provider to continue to manage, host and implement the National Prescribing Curriculum Program, along with associated services. The National Prescribing Curriculum Program is an independent evidence based online undergraduate curriculum, which targets key areas of prescribing and aims to promote quality use of Medicines and National Prescribing Competencies to future prescribers. All modules under the National Prescribing Curriculum are to be reviewed and updated in the curriculum over a three-year cycle. The online modules are designed to help professional practice medical graduates prescribe medications safely, effectively and economically using objective evidence. The Department intends to engage a successful Respondent for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend for a further 12 months or one (1) year, subject to contract performance, business requirements and future funding approval.
