The SKA Observatory (SKAO) intend to conduct a competitive procurement activity in 2026 to appoint an Independent Power Purchaser (IPP) to design, build, operate and maintain the SKA-Low Central Power Station (CPS) under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with a fixed term between 20 – 30 years. Ahead of this, SKAO is looking to appoint a consultant to assist with the development of the tender and to provide support during the tender process.
