Underwater Acoustics International Heads to Canada for Industry Conferences

LAFAYETTE, La., Oct. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In an effort to expand its services to the hydroelectric dam market, Underwater Acoustics International (UAI) will be attending two important industry conferences and exhibiting their capabilities. UAI provides underwater acoustic inspections of penstocks, flooded tunnels and water intake structures. Chief Scientist, Ken LaBry, and UAI Project Manager, Ryan Wallace, will be available at both conferences to meet and answer any questions regarding their services.

Their first stop is at the Canadian Dam Association Conference in Quebec. The conference is from October 13-18, 2018. The UAI Team can be found at Booth #28. The theme of this conference is Managing Aging Dams: A Challenge for Owners and Professionals.

After this, the UAI Team will be headed to Ontario for the Power of Water Canada Conference and Tradeshow. This event will take place from October 29-31, 2018. Be on the lookout for Mr. LaBry and Mr. Wallace at Booth #48. This conference is an excellent way to make connections and build alliances with hydroelectric professionals, as well as First Nation Communities, and provincial and federal government representatives.
