The Barnes Group Advisors and APWORKS Sign Letter of Intent for Strategic Collaboration

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Barnes Group Advisors and APWORKS have signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to enter into a strategic collaboration. The agreement was signed last month at formnext 2018. The scope of the agreement includes The Barnes Group Advisors (TBGA) providing Additive Manufacturing (AM) Technical Marketing and Application Development support via the Technical Excellence Resource Model. The Technical Excellence Resource Model allows APWORKS access to TBGA technical expertise as needed to support AM business opportunities.

For APWORKS, this represents the next logical step in the geographic expansion of its Additive Manufacturing activities, with a strong focus on AM-based serial applications. APWORKS offers its customers support throughout the full AM journey from first idea to serial AM production. This includes comprehensive AM training, AM compliant design optimization, business case development, and end-to-end industrial production capabilities.
