Linda Hall Library Announces June 2020 Line-Up of New, Expanded Livestream Programs to Shine Light on the Power of Science
KANSAS CITY, Mo., June 2, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As scientists around the globe carry the torch of discovery, the Linda Hall Library, is shining the light on the power of science to change the world with its new, expanded -- and FREE -- line-up of June livestream programs.

The Race to End the Pandemic -- COVID-19 Vaccine Trials in Kansas City
The race is on to create a COVID-19 vaccine, and a medical research lab in Kansas City has become ground zero for coronavirus vaccination testing. Dr. Tim Pleskac, Professor of Psychology at the University of Kansas, will present what we know about the psychology of decision making and what that can tell us about how people think about and perceive risk in the current pandemic.
