Paragon Furniture “Readies” K-12 Schools for New Family of READY™ Chairs and Stools

Paragon Furniture, Inc.®, manufacturer of K-12 educational furniture that sets the pace and place for learning, today launched an entirely new family of chairs and stools designed to outfit every space in a school. The new READY™ line of seating is ideal for classrooms, labs, cafes, media centers, maker spaces and teacher areas. All of the products in the new line are currently available to order and will ship in June 2017.

The perfect complement to any Paragon desk or table, the new READY line features six products: adjustable-height READY lab stools and task chairs, and non-adjustable READY 4-leg chairs on glides or casters, 4-leg stools, and cantilevered chairs.

The READY chairs and stools have a one-piece, contoured shell that features a symmetrical sloping surface around the entire chair to relieve pressure on the back of students’ legs. They have an ergonomic design with powerful curves and dynamic, round shapes to deliver a comfortable, natural impression. And their polypropylene, gas injection-molded shell provides an ergonomically ideal range of flex of up to 18 degrees.

READY chairs are made with a strong internal structural cavity, ensuring the ability to withstand daily use, while at the same time, eliminating unsightly ribs and creating a finished look in the front and back. The waterfall edges on the seat sides provide comfort and strength, and an ergonomic integrated pull is molded into the back of the chair for easy mobility. The legs are available standard with swivel nylon glides and are also available in felt or metal options, making the chairs quiet and safe for all floor types.

Up to six non-adjustable READY chairs can be easily stacked and moved throughout a school. All of the products in the line are available in both child, youth and adult heights (14-inch, 16-inch and 18-inches) to accommodate students and faculty.

The new READY chairs and stools are available in 16 plastic shell colors and five frame colors to match the décor of a specific room or an entire school. With minimal end user assembly required, the stools and chairs are essentially ready for use upon delivery. They coordinate with Paragon’s entire line of tables to help complete every learning space in a school or district.
