Sciton Announces Launch of Women's Health Clinical Review Board

PALO ALTO, Calif., May 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sciton, Inc. a leading manufacturer of high-quality laser and light systems in the medical and aesthetic market, is pleased to announce the members of its Women's Health Clinical Review Board (CRB) as part of its Women's Health Group division. Appointment of the elite members of the board came after thoughtful consideration of women's health physicians who have been leaders in the women's health field and medical lasers. The composite of the group are specialists in Obstetrics/Gynecology, Uro/Gynecology, Urology, Dermatology, and Plastic Surgery. Each specialty contributes their expertise in female pelvic conditions including issues with vulvar skin, sexual health well-being, and bringing clinical laser applications to the forefront.

This announcement goes hand-in-hand with Sciton's launch of its Centers of Excellence Program, which is an ongoing initiative recognizing key centers that are dedicated to providing exemplary care given to women suffering with vaginal conditions who receive diVa Vaginal Laser Therapy.

The CRB members convene monthly to discuss and act on topics related to reviewing and optimizing clinical outcomes, interpreting and disseminating translational data, and serving as mentors to Center of Excellence sites. The CRB members are active in IRB studies and lead the way in producing durable, relevant, and consistent results utilizing diVa Vaginal Laser Therapy for several women's health issues. Additionally, regularly planned symposiums are slated for the CRB members along with special invitations from Centers of Excellence members to further nurture knowledge and expertise in utilizing advanced protocols for raising standards of care.
