CPG International Appoints Gary Hendrickson as Chairman of the Board

SKOKIE, Ill., June 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CPG International, a leader in premium, low maintenance, exterior building products, announced today the appointment of former Valspar exec Gary Hendrickson, who guided the company to the acquisition by Sherwin-Williams for $11.3 billion, as Chairman of the Board.

Hendrickson is the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Valspar Corporation. His years of experience and impactful results on businesses achieving great growth in the industry will guide CPG International's growth and development in the coming years.

Hendrickson joined Valspar's packaging coatings business in 1994 and has held a variety of senior leadership roles in the company. He joined the Board of Directors in 2008 and became chairman in 2012. Prior to joining Valspar, Hendrickson served for 11 years in the U.S. Navy as Lieutenant Commander.
