Boeing to Feature Innovative, Agile Missile-Defense and Weapons Solutions at Space & Missile Defense Symposium

Boeing will highlight its aligned capabilities in homeland defense, integrated air and missile defense, directed energy and commercial satellite services during the Space & Missile Defense (SMD) Symposium at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Aug. 8-10.

“Boeing’s years of experience and expertise with integrated air and missile defense and strategic deterrence systems allow us to meet our customers’ needs with confidence and assurance,” said Jim Chilton, Boeing senior vice president, Space and Missile Systems. “The SMD Symposium is a valuable forum for us to collaborate on the rapid development of missile-defense and weapons operations and technology.”

On Aug. 8, Boeing’s Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense (SHORAD) Launcher will be displayed on a General Dynamics Land Systems Stryker combat vehicle for the first time.
