Riverside Research Awarded $19.8M DIA NMO DCGS Contract

WASHINGTON, Sept. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Riverside Research, a not-for-profit scientific research organization primarily supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community, was recently awarded the Defense Intelligence Agency, National Measurement and Signature Intelligence Office, Distributed Common Ground/Surface System contract by the Virginia Contracting Activity.

The $19.8-million contract was executed effective 24 August 2017 and includes a base year and four option years. Riverside Research was selected to provide DIA NMO oversight and technical expertise on DCGS development projects and advise on future activities in response to the DCGS Enterprise Focus Team's guidance. This award recognizes the government's confidence in Riverside Research's ability to assist with the management and execution of RDT&E for the MASINT Focus Team of the DCGS, and to discover methodologies for synchronization of MASINT metadata in accordance with the applicable IC Chief Information Officer (CIO), DOD CIO, DCGS Enterprise Focus Team's Metadata Management Team, and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) certification requirements.
