StartApp Passes Mobile Milestone with an Evolution in Brand Amplification and Engagement

NEW YORK, Oct. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- StartApp, an insights-driven mobile technologies company, today announced the progress of its Digital Content Division - a year-long evolution that is redefining the mobile user experience as well as the value for legacy brands within the growing economy of social and messaging apps.

"Brands have found it increasingly difficult to remain a part of engaged conversations as the digital landscape continues to fracture," said Gil Dudkiewicz, CEO of StartApp. "Twelve months ago we began a race to uncover the global growth value we could deliver among social apps - and today our technology-driven features produced a portfolio of digital content that shows where brands are welcomed by engaged users."

In 2016 both Android and Apple software updates opened new ways for brands to facilitate engagement and harness new revenue streams by interacting with users and branded chatbots, stickers, emojis, instant games, and more. StartApp, a pioneer in SDK brand integration, solidified its Digital Content Division and formed partnerships including:

-- Launching iMessage apps for Mattel's Barbie that were immediately
catapulted into a top-five app position and within the first month alone
        earned 100,000 downloads
-- Two Monster High stickers apps launched in July with a forthcoming
back-to-school theme app to be launched
-- With Hot Wheels and Thomas & Friends content to be published in the
near-term, StartApp secured licenses for the creation and sale of Mattel
digital content across mobile app stores for the creation of stickers,
emojis, keyboards, launchers, mobile app themes, avatars, in-app
content, Augmented reality and Virtual Reality.
-- Formed strategic messaging partnerships social apps including Viber,
Snap Interactive of Paltalk and Camfrog social apps which each offered
        Barbie stickers.

StartApp's Digital Content Division is further harnessing the value brands can find among the new trays where users discover brand content with forthcoming projects that build on strategic partnerships and leverage the acquisition of mobile technology assets including:

-- The August 2017 acquisition of assets developed by Kibo, the branded
keyboard leader, which are integrated with StartApp's portfolio for the
        innovative creation of digital content.
-- Forthcoming AppMoji and Weather Creative apps for separate campaign
featuring branded emojis which users can share in any conversation.
-- Development of forthcoming in-app premiums such as a new BarbieMoji
keyboard and an Atari's contribution for an event that will appear
inside the hit Rollercoaster Tycoon app.

"Our new Digital Content team has established new audiences for brand relevance and opened revenue streams across emerging channels," Dudkiewicz said. "We've built an account management team for expert analytical evaluation of brand campaigns and in-house creation of the content that engages brands with targeted audiences."
