Federal Aviation Administration Extends CORENA Suite Adoption

Flatirons Solutions, Inc., a part of the Flatirons Jouve group of companies dedicated to Turning Content into KnowledgeTM, is pleased to announce the acquisition of CORENA Suite software and services by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The purchase is a follow-on to a 2015 pilot project. The CORENA Suite purchase extends the FAAs technical publishing capabilities for content authoring and revision, compliant process workflow management, publication, and viewing of maintenance documents (including mobile access).

The technical information managed within CORENA Suite will be used by the FAA to support the Terminal Second Level Engineering (TSLE) organization and its important mission. The FAA’s TSLE employees will be using CORENA Suite products to advance their capabilities for delivering technical publications used to deploy and maintain the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) used by air traffic controllers to manage the nation’s growing volume of air traffic.

The CORENA Suite is the de facto standard for OEM-independent management of technical information for complex asset manufacturers and operators, and has been proven in the field through adoption by public sector and commercial customers in aviation, rail, marine, defense, and energy. The CORENA Suite is designed to meet the needs of mission-critical environments in which maintenance operations must be optimized to ensure the overall health and availability of complex assets.
