Parks Associates: 13% of U.S. Broadband Households Owned a Smart Thermostat at the End of 2017

DALLAS, Jan. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- New smart energy research from Parks Associates released today shows adoption of smart thermostats reached 13% of U.S. broadband households in 2017, up from 11% in 2016. The IoT research firm will explore new opportunities for utilities and energy providers to leverage the growth of smart home devices and solutions at the ninth-annual Smart Energy Summit: Engaging the Consumer, February 19-21, 2018, at the Omni Austin Downtown in Austin, Texas.
