Complete Maserati Portfolio To Be Showcased At 110th Edition Of Chicago Auto Show
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Maserati North America is bringing its full 2018 vehicle lineup to the 2018 Chicago Auto Show at the expansive McCormick Place complex. Two Levante vehicles, the "Maserati of SUVs," will be joined by the Ghibli sport sedan, the flagship Quattroporte executive sedan, and the legendary GranTurismo sports car. The show stand display will highlight the breadth of Maserati vehicle choices in 2018, from sports cars to sport utility vehicles.
Audiences will experience the House of the Trident's portfolio in a range of palettes and trims. The 2018 Ghibli S Q4 sport sedan will be featured in a striking Grigio Maratea color, along with a 2018 Ghibli S Q4 in a Blu Emozione hue. Two Quattroporte vehicles will be on display. A 2018 Quattroporte S Q4 with a Bianco Alpi exterior and luxurious Ermenegildo Zegna silk interior will join a 2018 Quattroporte GTS in dark Nero Ribelle. In addition, there will be a black 2018 Levante S and a grey 2018 Levante S, alongside a red 2018 GranTurismo MC.
All four distinct model lines have received upgrades for 2018. Updates to the Ghibli and Levante MY18 include the addition of GranLusso and GranSport trims, previously introduced in the Quattroporte range. Customers now have the option to choose between one of two distinct trims for the Levante and the Ghibli: GranSport or GranLusso. GranSport was conceived to meet the demands of a sportier expression of the high-end lifestyle, while the sophisticated and luxurious GranLusso cabin combines a choice of Ermenegildo Zegna silk or full premium Italian upholstery and includes upgrades such as Radica open-pore wood trim and a leather steering wheel. The Ghibli and Levante vehicles on display in Chicago will be shown in GranLusso and GranSport examples.
In addition, new for 2018, the Ghibli and Quattroporte now also feature adaptive full LED headlights with glare free high-beam, based on Matrix technology for Ghibli, developed in collaboration with Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting, and on L-shape technology for Quattroporte. Both Maserati sedans are fitted with power-upgraded 3.0L V6 engines as well, with the new, performance-enhancing Integrated Vehicle Control system (IVC), developed by Bosch in collaboration with Maserati.
Pricing for the 2018 Ghibli starts at an MSRP of $73,780, with the Levante available for a base price of $74,790. The Quattroporte starts at $106,660, and the GranTurismo begins at $134,300. All prices are excluding taxes.
The 110(th) edition of the Chicago Auto Show will be open to the public from February 10-19. Press previews are scheduled to begin February 8.
