Nicholas Leiby Joins Weinberg Capital Group

Chip Weinberg, Managing Director & Principal of Weinberg Capital Group, announced today the appointment of Nicholas Leiby to the position of Director.

Leiby began his career in public accounting with Deloitte, where he provided assurance services to both public and private companies across a wide variety of industries while he earned his CPA.

Following his tenure at Deloitte, Nick joined the Consumer & Retail Investment Banking group at KeyBanc Capital Markets, where he provided M&A advisory and capital markets services to companies located across the U.S.

Following his time at KeyBanc, Nick transitioned his career into private equity, first serving as an Associate at Kirtland Capital Partners and, most recently, as Vice President at Resilience Capital Partners — both middle-market firms based in Cleveland, OH.

While at Resilience, Nick was responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, performing due diligence, and working with portfolio company senior management teams to execute on their value creation plans.

Mr. Leiby graduated from Ohio University with a BBA in Accounting & Business Pre-Law and received his MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
