Schneider Electric Expands EcoStruxure Leadership with Appointment of Kieran McLoughlin

ANDOVER, Mass., March 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Schneider Electric, the global specialist in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, today announced it is expanding its leadership for EcoStruxure(TM), Schneider Electric's Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled, open and interoperable system architecture and platform, with the appointment of Kieran McLoughlin as vice president of IoT EcoStruxure.

In the newly created role, McLoughlin will work with customers to develop digital roadmaps for their connected assets, provide support to Schneider Electric partners who are transforming their business models to take advantage of EcoStruxure, and will be responsible for driving the company's software interactions among accounts. McLoughlin will report directly to Andy Bennett, senior vice president of IoT EcoStruxure at the company.

Previously, McLoughlin held various leadership roles at IBM, including leading strategy, solution and business development across global energy and utilities solutions. Prior to IBM, McLoughlin worked at General Electric, ABB and Alstom.
